At Portway, our lifelong learners will build a body of key foundational knowledge and concepts about natural phenomena and be inquisitive throughout their time at school. We understand that science has changed our lives and is vital to the future of the world we live in. Our Science curriculum fosters a healthy curiosity in our children about our universe and promotes respect for our world.

As the children embark on their journey through exploration and investigation here at Portway, they will acquire the key knowledge and skills sequentially to ensure progression. As young scientists, our dynamic and progressive curriculum is designed to ensure the children are able apply their key knowledge through practical experiments, using a range of equipment, making predictions, building arguments and explaining key concepts confidently.
