The ‘Portway 5’ is a call to all pupils to be responsible, respectful, caring, friendly and active. They are all of these things. They have warm relationships with each other and with staff. They behave well in lessons and around school. As a result, the school has a friendly atmosphere, and pupils feel safe. Pupils and staff take great care in helping new pupils to settle. Pupils are encouraged to do their best. Pupils rise to the challenge. They take pride in their work, especially the writing they produce in their ‘publishing’ books. Pupils enjoy choosing their best work to show parents at the ‘proud moments’ afternoons.

The government will not publish KS2 school level data for the 2021 to 2022 academic year. They have archived data from the 2018 to 2019 academic year because they recognise that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.
