School Uniform Policy

We are proud of our school uniform and hope that by wearing it the children will feel a sense of identity, have pride in our school and represent the school's high standards at all times. Our school colour is red.  Articles can be purchased by parents from whichever store they feel offers the best buy with or without the school logo. Items of uniform with the School Logo can be purchased via Loop Schoolwear

 

Our Required Uniform Consists of:

Red sweatshirt, sardigan or V-necked jumper

Black or grey tailored trousers or tailored shorts

Black or grey skirt in any style

White polo shirt / White shirt with collar

Summer dresses in red and white (in warmer weather, optional)

Plain socks in black, grey or white

Grey or black tights

Black flat sensible shoes/trainers (all black)

 

No jewellery please except a watch. Children may wear a small pair of plain studs if they have pierced ears, but these will need to be removed, by the pupil, for PE and swimming.  

 

Our Required PE kit is a White T-shirt and Black Shorts (minimum mid thigh length) with Trainers. For outdoor PE children may wish to wear black joggers/leggings and a plain black sweatshirt / hoodie.   

 

For swimming girls should have a one piece swimming costume and boys should wear trunks or shorts. The swimming pool does not allow jewellery. Children will also require a towel and swimming hat.  

 

Second hand/pre-loved uniform is available, please ask at the school office.

 

ALL ITEMS OF CLOTHING SHOULD BE CLEARLY MARKED WITH THE CHILD'S NAME

School Equipment 

The following school equipment needs to be provided for each child:

  • small school bag/backpack
  • plain or clear pencil case
  • blue, purple and green biro (not gel pen)
  • whiteboard pen
  • green highlighter
  • pencil
  • pencil sharpener
  • ruler
  • rubber
  • glue stick
  • water bottle

We ask that as equipment runs out during the school year parents ensure they replace items.
