Payments for school dinners, trips and other items can be made via School Money using the link below.

The School Day

The school day starts at 8.55am and finishes at 3.30pm and the school gate is open from 8.40am. Lunchtime is from 12.00 to 1pm.

• 8.40am School Gates Open 
• 8.55am School Gates Close and Register ~ your child will be marked as 'Late Before Registers Closed' (L) if they arrive between 9am and 9.10am
• 9.10am Register Closes ~ your child will be marked as 'Late After Registers Closed' (U).
• Afternoon Break - 15 minutes
• School Hours 8.55am to 3.30pm - 6 hours and 35 minutes, 32.55 per week

We recognise the importance of children being in school and have therefore attached the school term dates for the upcoming  years. This will enable families to book holidays during school holiday times.

School holiday dates are pre-arranged between Derby City and Derbyshire local authority education teams.

Inset days are set for the next academic year by February half term again maximising the notice given to parents.

School Lunches

Our school meals service is provided by award winning Mellors Catering Services, a family business who's objectives are to  provide Top Quality Service and Food.  Mellors provide meals to over 250 primary schools  and menus are changed each season and rotated on a 3 weekly basis to ensure good variety and selection.  Mellors prioritise using fresh, locally-sourced produce to create dishes.  They are committed to promoting healthy eating habits.  Their menus are carefully crafted to offer a balance of flavours and nutrients, meeting dietary requirements.  They continually explore new flavours reflective of food trends to ensure their menus are fresh and exciting.  To find out more visit their website at https://mellorscatering.co.uk/
