Portway Junior School pedestrian gates open at 08:30 each day.  Pupils can enter their classrooms from 08:45 and should be in class by 08:55 for the register.

Lateness to school

Pupils arriving to class anytime after 08:55 will be marked as late with an 'L'.  Should a pupil arrive after 09:30 when the registers are closed, without a parent informing the school, they be marked with a 'U'.

Absence from school

If your child is going to be absent from school, please could you call the school office (01332 550113) before 08:55.  There is an answer machine for out of office hours calls.
